In the heart of Oasi Zegna, enveloped by the eloquent silence of the Biella Alps, a historic home is reborn, unveiling a beauty that blends roots with a contemporary vision. Every detail of this transformation tells a story of material and light, an aesthetic journey that captivates with its refined essence and its ability to engage with the surrounding landscape.

The Project

The renovation respected the authentic identity of the dwelling, celebrating the marks of time as a heritage to be preserved. Raw stones and wooden beams, relics of a distant era, coexist with monolithic concrete surfaces and resin floors, composing a language that is both robust and delicate. It is a home that breathes the past, yet its breath carries a contemporary rhythm.

The Dialogue

In this project, architecture does not seek prominence but becomes a means to reveal the deeper essence of the place. The house, while deeply rooted in its history, opens itself to a continuous dialogue with the present and the nature that embraces it.
